Mock Digipak

For our digipak we had a female rapper called ‘G-Willi’ who can be seen in at the top of the pack where the disk will be, the disk will have the exact same design on it as the area the disc will cover when placed into the box. Behind the artist we have an empty dark street which we used as we feel streets have a large link to rap music and the locations where rap music is likely to be filmed. We feel that a few of our images have strong relevance to the name of the album which is called smoke as we have images of light smoke on a dark background on 2 of the sides to the digipak.

I had never made a digipak before this task so taking part in this exercise has taught me a lot for example the layout you should have on a digipak, different kind of images and image shapes you can include to diversify your digipak and also things you should look to include on a digipak for example, connotations of the artists and their genre, the songs on the album and also some stand out images. I was very pleases with the effort I put into making my digipak and I feel the end product looks very good and my assessors must have thought similar as I received mostly positive feedback for my final product however there was some constructive criticism for example as a suggestion I could've added a bit more to the digipak as some of the sides to it are rather blank so I could look to add a logo or some writing to some of the blank sides of the digipak and I can also consider this if I was to make another one in the future.
